Eliminator 500 SE Features
Offering a natural riding position that accommodates a wide range of riders, the Eliminator inspires confidence from the moment you sit on it. Its light weight and good mass centralization make light work of lifting the bike off its side-stand and contribute to low-speed maneuverability. Its highly accessible, stress-free character makes the Eliminator an ideal everyday riding partner.
Complementing the rider-friendly character that will bring a smile to the faces of riders who want to enjoy the exhilaration offered by a Kawasaki motorcycle, the Eliminator is backed up by active performance derived from its Ninja-based engine and lightweight trellis frame.
A modern reinterpretation of the long and low style of the original Eliminator is complemented by a versatility that lends itself to any lifestyle. Horizontal lines that draw the eye from front to rear, the low seat, and low, flat handlebar hint at the new Eliminator’s active riding potential and a light-footed maneuverability, as if to be able to glide lightly over the ground.
At 735 mm, the Eliminator’s seat height is the lowest of Kawasaki’s 250-500cc on-road models, contributing to a reassuring reach to the ground. Accessory high and low seats enable a wide range of riders to enjoy the Eliminator with confidence and comfort.
Ample power, a comfortable pillion seat, and an ergonomic accessory grab bar make it easy to share the Eliminator experience with a friend.
While the LED taillight evokes the style of the original Eliminator, the tail design is original. Thin, with its slash cut lower line angling sharply upwards, it contributes to the active performance image.
In addition to contributing to riding comfort and natural handling, twin rear shocks are reminiscent of the style of Kawasaki’s orthodox motorcycles.
Belying the Eliminator’s long and low design and imposing bodywork, efforts made to keep weight low result in a lightweight chassis. Low-effort maneuverability contributes to rider confidence and helps reduce riding stress.
Inspired by the Ninja 400’s high performance trellis frame, the high tensile steel construction achieves the Eliminator’s low seat height while maintaining the active performance potential of its sportier brother.
The Eliminator’s Parallel Twin engine offers strong low-end torque, greatly benefiting low-speed control and maneuverability, and contributing to low-stress everyday riding. At highway speeds, its strong power and linear response make its Ninja lineage apparent.
A natural riding position with handle grips located where your arms naturally extend and foot pegs positioned so that your legs do not feel cramped offers rider reassurance and contributes to stress-free everyday riding.
Complementing the long and low style, chassis geometry was carefully selected to achieve light, natural handling. The Eliminator’s easy handling character adds to rider confidence and contributes to stress-free riding.
Compact, round, all-digital LCD instrument panel offers a modern touch that complements the Eliminator’s authentic style. The highly legible layout includes a bar style tachometer and gear position indicator – visible reminders of the Eliminator’s active riding potential. Smartphone connectivity enables riders to access instrument functions for an enhanced motorcycling experience.
Combining a long wheelbase with 18” front and 16” rear wheels helps achieve the low head position and long and low style.
A long and low design with elegant proportions is created by the vertically thin fuel tank and the horizontal lines evident from the head pipe to the original tail. The design of the impressive, mid-class sized body suggests a balance of active performance and composure.
